Oshi Collections is an independent database of fictional characters, VTubers, groups, creative organizations, titles and franchises.
Our goal is to make reliable information easier to discover, compare and understand. Each entry brings together names, descriptions, relationships, publication history and supporting sources in one structured place.
Oshi Collections is not operated by a corporation, publisher, talent agency or rights holder. It is an independently managed editorial project based in Japan.
Our perspective
Being based in Japan gives the editorial team direct access to Japanese-language sources and the cultural context surrounding manga, anime, games, VTubers and related creative works.
Where an official or licensed English-language edition exists, we prioritize its established English naming and terminology. Japanese names, original-script names and other localized information are preserved separately when supported by reliable sources.
This perspective does not make every statement automatically correct. Claims are still checked against cited evidence and reviewed before publication.
How entries are created
Research and draft preparation may be assisted by AI and other automated tools. Automation helps locate potential sources, organize information and prepare structured drafts.
AI-generated information is never published automatically. A human reviewer checks individual fields, sources, names, relationships and translations before an entry can be published.
We prefer:
official websites and materials from rights holders, creators, publishers, production committees, game operators, agencies and talents;
official or licensed English-language editions;
reliable reference sources that directly support the relevant claim; and
clearly identified sources that readers can open and evaluate themselves.

Independence and funding
Oshi Collections does not accept affiliate commissions and does not adjust editorial coverage to favor a product, company, creator or rights holder.
The site may use clearly identified display advertising, including Google AdSense, in the future. Advertising placement or revenue will not determine which entries are created, how subjects are described or what conclusions are presented.
We do not offer paid rankings, paid inclusion or undisclosed sponsored coverage.
Corrections and contact
Entertainment information changes. Names, affiliations, release schedules and official descriptions may be revised over time.
